Jeep and chrysler doing well across the pond

Chrysler may be feeling some pain in the USA, but overseas they are realizing some excellent results. According to a Chrysler spokesperson, international sales are up 14 percent through August of 2006 with 15 straight months of month-to-month increases. The news is even better in Western Europe. Chrysler reported an increase of 35.6% in August 2006 compared with the performance from a year ago, and a sales increase of 15.5% for the year-to-date through August 2006. According to JATO Dynamics, a market information company, Jeep sales were up 25% in Europe through August compared to 2005, much of the increase due to the excellent performances of the new Grand Cherokee and Commander. These impressive sales results have made Chrysler the second fastest growing automotive group in Europe, second only to Fiat, and Chrysler predicts that international sales will account for 9% of total sales by 2007.

Looking at the sales numbers it's easy to see why the folks at Chrysler were excited about the unveiling of their production version of the two-door Jeep Wrangler and four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for the first time in Europe at the recently held Paris Motor Show. The Paris Motor Show is a major event that is held every two years. It is a trend-setting showcase for the automotive industry around the world and it attracts participants from all corners of the globe. The newly demo’ed Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models are powered by a new 2.8 liter diesel engine and feature a broad array of new off-road features. They will hit European dealer showrooms around April of 2006, and Chrysler feels they’ll be a big hit. Why shouldn’t we believe them? They seem to have an excellent grasp on the European market at the moment.

It is good that Chrysler, an American car manufacturer, and Jeep are making themselves known around the world and realizing some excellent results. Now if only we could get our hands on those diesel powered Wranglers here in the good ole’ USA. Then we all might be happy!

Using the internet

Dependant on your age, looking back on all those years that you spent sitting in classrooms at high school may bring back some daunting memories. Working by set rules, not being allowed to do what you want, yet at the same time it may be possible that you are feeling a sense of regret; a sense that comes with maturity when you look back and thing I could have utilised that time better and learnt something instead of mucking around. In previous years, the only options to enhance your education would be to go to night classes or take up a part time degree at a university, yet that is now a thing of the past. With aid of the internet comes unlimited potential to learning online, and people have started picking up on this fact providing services to help enhance our education. In fact, by reading this article you are already proving how versatile the internet can be at providing an education, and when you finish reading this, you should hopefully be raring to go to set out and learn something new!

When it comes to the internet and education, it really boils down to what you are looking for. If it is a formal qualification, then there are sites out there that will teach you online and either provide a test via the internet, or arrange an exam in a public exam room. However, if its just pure knowledge you want instead of the credentials, then you have got a mass of information at your finger tips ranging from full depth tutorials to short 101 sessions to help teach you something new. There are topics from learning a new language by use of audio, to teaching you how to fix a car. It really does depend on what you are after.

For instance, if you are a coder and you are looking to learn a brand new language, then the best way to proceed is probably through online tutorials. Most of the tutorial sites online list tutorials written by people like you and me, attempting to pass their skills on. For example, w3schools. com provide in depth tutorials to nearly every single web based language out there. Each tutorial is broken down into key parts with examples how the code works, making it easier for you to learn. The worst tutorials are where they show you something and do not explain how it works and you should steer clear of these types.

When it comes down to it, if you are just looking to enhance your education using the internet, the best way to go about it, is searching for information on that topic using a search engine like Google. There will be a guarantied chance that you will find some information on what you are looking for, however it is important to understand that to get the best possible education out the internet, it pays to use more than resource. A lot of the sites out there providing you with the education are written by average people, just like the tutorials I mentioned earlier. There are no standards or specifications they have to abide by, so if chance would have it, you may stumble onto a site filled with incredibly well articulated rubbish. In other words, it looks good but the information is worthless. Cross referencing your information is a key point to good research and learning!

Now reading this, you may still feel a little lost as you might just want an online reference you can go to. Well, to help you along, eliteskills. com/free_education is an excellent free reference site. It has tons of links to help you get started on what you want to learn, linking to genuine university sites where they put their lectures online for students and anyone else interested to learn from. A lot of the information on there leads to pod casts where you can download entire lectures via Itunes. Examples would include their language section. If you click on their basic French link it will open up Itunes and provide you with over 100 tracks containing individual lessons from a French Teacher.

For those of you who want to actually earn a degree online, or get some qualifications, there are options for you to. However it is important to note, that for a degree or qualification, you are going to have to spend money on it. Free sites offering free qualifications are probably fakes trying to draw you into their ad venue scheme, and they are just not worth it, so please be aware that it’s going to cost you money. How much depends on what you want and who you go with.

One of the best sites out there to obtain a degree or a course is the Open University. While based in the UK, international students are always welcome, and all their courses can be done online. This would appeal to people who are serious about gaining some extra qualifications alongside the ones you have already got (or have not got if that is the case). They offer nearly every type of practical degree from languages to sciences, and are an excellent choice if you want to have a job alongside it.

If you do not fancy joining the Open University, then have a look around your countries universities and see if they offer any degrees or courses online. It is not guarantied that they will, but you might get lucky and find a few that do some courses.

Basically, using the internet for an online education is an excellent idea if you approach it with an open mind. Never take anything for granted on it, and be wary of cheap deals to get you a qualification. If you see a course you want to do on a site, then search about for other people who’ve done it and see if they would recommend it to you.

Simple steps to starting a coupon club

If someone were to hand you a ten dollar bill, would you tell them that you didn’t want it? Of course not! Yet Americans throw away free money everyday when they choose not to use coupons. Last year alone, manufacturers across America offered more than two hundred and fifty billion dollars in coupon savings and yet American shoppers saved only $3 billion dollars in that same time period, by using coupons. That is two hundred and forty-seven billion dollars in savings going to waste! If you are serious about wanting to save money using coupons, you can’t just rely on the Sunday paper to supply you with the coupons you need. You have to get creative in finding coupons that will help you to lower your bills.

1. Gather a group of 12 friends (including you) and give them at least a months warning so that they can begin rounding up their coupons. Make sure to invite people that represent a wide variety of shopping needs, so that you will have lots of different types of coupons to choose from. Try not to invite 11 people that all have newborn babies or a pet, or no one will want to trade diaper and cat treat coupons.

2. Pick a time that is convenient for everyone (lunch or dinner) and send out reminder invites that include the location one week before your club meeting. You can also send out e-mail reminders the night before the club meets. Just to get things started, you can include a few online coupon codes in your e-mail. At the first meeting have everyone sign up to host one meeting over the next year. That means they will be in charge of the reminder, invitation, food, and door prizes, as well as hosting the event at their house. Because you have 12 members, each one will only have to host one time a year.

3. Plan your menu. You could even do a pot-luck or have a fun theme like a luau. Make a theme night in which everyone brings a dish that was made using only products that were purchased with coupons. Give a prize for the dish that represents the most money in coupon savings. Don't forget to make it a splurge night and serve a really gooey, calorie laden dessert.

4. Get some door prizes together. You can plan games to give these away or just have a drawing. Put a dollar sign on one of the napkins and give a prize to the member who gets that particular napkin. Give a prize to the person that brings the coupon for the largest amount of money off an item. Good door prizes are coupon wallets, gift certificates, scissors, and of course coupons!

5. Plan out how you are going to swap coupons. You could play games where each member starts with five coupons and each time she is caught saying a certain agreed upon word by another member, she has to give one of her coupons to that member. You could have each member put 25 coupons in an envelope and then place them on a table and take turns picking an envelope. Or you could just have a coupon free for all where members simply swap coupons without the benefit of organization.

The most important thing to remember when planning a coupon club is to use your imagination and have lots of fun.

Steroid use in sports

There are vague references of steroid use in sports in the 1936 Berlin Olympics where the German Olympic team is believed to have taken oral testosterone preparations. The World Weightlifting Championships of 1950s are widely known for Soviets weightlifter’s steroid use in sports of weightlifting. According to reports, the team physician for the United States, Dr. John Ziegler was told by the Soviet team’s doctor that their term was getting testosterone jabs, which helped them, perform powerfully.

Dr. Ziegler developed "Methandrostenolone" or Dianabol with the help of Ciba pharmaceutical company; this made the US dominate in the 1962 World Championships. The Dianabol is said to be the first anabolic steroid in sports history. The Dianabol steroid use in sports began rising in the 1960s and 1970s. It became common dietary intake of sports persons. Bodybuilders, weightlifters, football players, and Olympic athletes started the steroid use in sports. It is said that Dr. Zeiglerґs little blue Dianabol pills helped Arnold Schwarzenegger to win his first of seven Mr. Olympia titles.

The steroid use in sports is pronounced as unethical and illegal. FIFA, Union Cycliste Internationale (cycling), and International Olympic Committee banned the steroid use in sports in 1966-67. These sports agencies have been following strict policies on steroid use in sports. Yet, there are a number of cases of steroid use in sports. Tom Simpson during the 1967 Tour de France was found taking amphetamines. Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson was tested taking stanozolol, Dianabol, Cypionate, Furazabol, and human growth hormone that helped him win 100 m at the 1988 Summer Olympics, but Ben Johnson had to lose his title because of these drugs. The entire Festina team was excluded from the Tour de France after they were found taking performance-enhancing drugs in 1998.

The wide spread steroid use in sports led to the creation of the World Anti-Doping Agency in 1999 to sternly deal with the problem of steroid use in sports. The California's Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative (BALCO) was found guilty of steroid distribution and money laundering in July 2005. The athletes & sports persons implicated or accused in BALCO steroid use in sports scandal include Dwain Chambers, C. J. Hunter, Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery, and baseball players, such as Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, and several members of the Oakland Raiders. The 2006 book Game of Shadows written by Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams, reporters for the San Francisco Chronicle, exposes several baseball stars, such as Barry Bonds, who has been hugely using steroids in sports.

The 2006 Tour de France winner Floyd Landis was stripped off his titles when he was tested positive for an elevated testosterone/epitestosterone. The American Olympic and world 100-meter champion, Justin Gatlin failed a drug test on July 29, 2006. However, Gatlin said, I cannot account for these results, because I have never knowingly used any banned substance or authorised anyone to administer such a substance to me. Gatlin was tested positive for using "testosterone or its precursor. Gatlin was coached by Trevor Graham, and 8 of the athletes coached by Graham were tested positive or received bans for performance enhancing drugs. Graham however blamed massage therapist, Christopher Whetstine, for rubbing a creme with testosterone onto Gatlin without his knowledge. On August 22, 2006, an eight year ban was slapped on Gatlin for steroid use in sports.

Ever thought of buying a piece of eco or ethical household furniture

Ask yourself this - Do you own any eco friendly furniture, or anything that is made from an ethical source or bought from an ethical retailer? The majority of Western consumers may say they don’t, and probably most of them are not even familiar with the concepts. So what is eco friendly furniture, an ethical source or ethical retailer and why should you consider buying such products?

Increasingly we find ourselves beset by problems that seem beyond our control; global warming, GM Foods, animal testing, the spread of factory farming, the arms trade and human rights abuses, to list but a few. Shoppers are often left feeling helpless, the typical response being ‘there’s nothing I can do’.

But you can by shopping in an Ethical way. Put simply, this is buying things that are made ethically by companies that act ethically. Buying ethically means buying a brand or from a company which doesn’t exploit labour, animals or the environment.

Eco friendly furniture is defined as furniture made by nontoxic, sustainable, renewable materials. An example is garden furniture made from recycled wood. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC brings people together to find solutions to the problems created by bad forestry practices and to reward good forest management.

Why buy ethically?

Due to a world population of 6 billion and the demand for wood that follows, forests have been clear-cut throughout the equatorial regions of the world. From Indonesia to Africa to the Americas, deforestation has robbed the world of nearly half of the original tropical forests. Often this deforestation has been fueled by multinational timber companies who came in, cut everything in sight, and moved on.

Although we are beginning to hear the term Carbon neautral more and more. (What this means is that in terms of timber, for every tree they cut down. They plant another in either the same place or a different place. That way they remain neutral) Everyone needs to go shopping in one way or another. As an ethical consumer, every time you buy something you can make a difference by choosing an ethical furniture product or by buying from an ethical business.

For example, when you buy from a company that doesn’t exploit its workers and provides them with decent working conditions, you are giving the company the funds to continue its ethical behaviour. At the same time, you are no longer buying from a company that exploits its labour with poor pay and often a dangerous working environment. That company then loses business, which may encourage it to change its ways and to look after its workers.

Shopping for ethical and eco furniture has never been easier with companies such as GuideMeGreen that lists 100s of relevant companies.

A tutorial to pumps

Pumps are amazing mechanical devices and an important invention. They are used to move gas or liquid from one pressure are to another pressure area. They are used in a variety of ways from providing water to providing heat to providing energy. Pumps have been around since the 3rd century and are still going strong today.

There are two main categories of pumps: positive displacement pumps and dynamic pumps. Positive displacement pumps have little leakage as they used sealed chambers to force the fluid or gas. Dynamic pumps use momentum to move the fluid or gas and the chambers are not sealed. In these two categories there are various types of pumps.

The following list explains the different types of pumps most commonly found in residential and industrial settings. These are a good representation of the many styles and models of pumps that are manufactured. Most pumps are made for a specific use and that is represented in this list as well.

- A centrifugal pump can handle a large load. They are used most often with oil or chemical processing. They have an impeller that forces the liquid or gas into a rotary motion. This rotary motion cause pressure to build.

- Electromagnetic pumps are made to move liquid sodium and potassium. They are used in the cooling systems of nuclear reactors. These pumps use electrical conductors and magnetic pipes.

- Jet Pumps use high velocity to move fluid. They require a jet of steam or water to carry the fluid through it. The jet pressure makes a vacuum that sucks more fluid. They are so powerful that they are most often used to move water from deep wells.

- A screw pump is also called a positive displacement pump. It is a widely used pump because it does not form clumps when pumping solids and keeps a constant speed.

These four pump types only represent a portion of the pumps on the market. They are, however, the most popular models.

Pumps are found in many environments. They range from industrial plants to a home water system. The way a pump works depends largely on the category of pump it is and the type of pump it is. The use is then based on these factors. All pumps work under the same principles, though. Pumps use pressure to move liquid or gas to a different location.

Allergies to pets

In this article we're going to discuss one of the most annoying kinds of allergies that there is, especially for us animal lovers - allergies to pets and what can be done to reduce the allergens produced by pets.

The sad fact is that 10 to 15% of all the people in the world suffer from some kind of allergy to animals, which can make owning a pet not only annoying but potentially dangerous if the allergy is severe enough. Cat allergies are actually twice as common as dog allergies. The body's reaction to the animals is caused by a certain protein found in the animal's saliva, urine or dander. People aren't really allergic to the pet's fur but to the allergen that sticks to the fur, the carpeting or the furniture; basically anywhere your pet has been. Also, these microscopic flakes of dander travel through the air. As a matter of fact, studies show that these allergens can stay in the air even 3 years after an animal has actually been in the home.

Many people ask if there are any breeds of animals that people are not allergic to. The answer is, since all animals have dead skin there are no non allergic breeds. People may be more tolerant of certain breeds of dogs than others but there is no such thing as 100% non allergic. All animals produce some amount of allergen, even if it is a small amount. The allergic symptoms themselves build over time after handling or being near an animal, with the peak time being around 12 hours after. Also, as the pet spends more time living in the person's home the allergens begin to accumulate and a person who showed no symptoms when handling the pet at the store when buying it will start to show symptoms after it has been home for a while, usually within a day.

So what's the answer for people who want to have a pet but are allergic? What can they do in order to have a pet? Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is try to reduce your exposure to the allergens. You're not going to be able to get rid of them completely. One thing you can do to try to prevent the accumulation of allergens is to cover your furniture with plastic mattresses and pillow covers. Replace your carpeting with hard wooden floors and washable throw rugs. Clean the house as often as you can. Make sure you vacuum with a cleaner that has a HEPA filter otherwise allergens are just going to end up getting spread into the air. Your pet should be kept out of your bedroom completely. This may be hard for a real pet lover but it is essential. When you brush your pet, wear a face mask. Then change your clothes immediately afterward. Unfortunately, the success rate of allergy shots and other treatments for pet allergies is only about 50%. Currently however, a vaccine for people allergic to cats is being tested. This may be a major breakthrough in the future.

Until then, there really isn't much more you can do. If your allergies are severe it is probably best to stick with a fish for a pet.

Life assurance - protecting your mortgage

The first time that many of us will think about life assurance is when buying our first home. Many mortgage lenders insist that life cover is taken out when offering a mortgage, to ensure the loan will be repaid if the borrower dies. Even if this is not the case, it is prudent to do so if you have a partner or family who will suffer from losing your income to help make monthly mortgage repayments should you die.

Sainsbury’s Bank this year warned that there are up to 4.2 million people that do not have life assurance with their mortgage. This equates to an estimated Ј217 billion worth of mortgages not protected by life cover.

There are different types of life cover. Cost depends on many things such as amount covered, term, age, smoker or non-smoker and general health. Monthly premiums can vary in price dependent on provider, so shopping around is a good idea. However, when comparing prices you should consider the fact that the amount could actually increase after you’ve completed the application details.

Term life assurance is the most common type of life assurance used in conjunction with a mortgage. Term assurance pays out a lump sum should the life assured die within a certain amount of time. If this does not happen, the policy pays nothing.

Decreasing term life assurance is typically the cheapest form of cover. The amount assured decreases in line with outstanding mortgage repayment liabilities. This suits a capital and interest mortgage where the outstanding capital is repaid by the end of the mortgage term.

With level term life assurance the amount that is paid out on death remains the same. This is suitable for an interest only mortgage where the amount of outstanding capital owed does not decrease over the period of the mortgage.

Critical illness cover is a common additional benefit that can be added to a life assurance policy. The sum assured is payable on the conclusive diagnosis of a critical illness, such as:

Cancer

Heart attack

Multiple sclerosis

Stroke.

It is wise to check what exactly is covered if taking out this option, as this can vary greatly between different providers.

Emotional freedom technique emotional disturbance and the happy tappers

Nearly everybody has some sort of phobia or skeleton in their closet that could do with being dealt with. Whether it is something that happened in your teens or adulthood, a phobia of flying or maybe of public speaking, then a reasonably new procedure called Emotional Freedom Technique could be for you!

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is a therapy that is rapidly gaining favour amongst many people from many walks of life – including Hollywood superstars. Many therapists such as Hypnotherapists, Psychotherapists, Councillors and even medical staff are learning the benefits for their clients.

Whilst EFT looks like quite a strange technique at first and seems not too dissimilar to the realms of tree hugging and other new age techniques it seems to work and for most people that’s all that counts. I myself have used EFT in therapy with my clients and have achieved some amazing results, sometimes where nothing else has worked.

So what is EFT and what will it do for you?

Well… this is a massive question; however I will have a go at giving you the best answer that I can.

EFT is a process of tapping on certain parts of your body whilst occasionally humming and moving your eyes in certain directions all at the same time as thinking about the issue that is making you feel bad.

There… I did say it would seem a bit strange; however don’t let this put you off. The creators of EFT say that it works by clearing emotional blockages in our energy system. This is unlikely as the energy system or Meridians have never been proven to exist so this theory is just that – a theory.

The much more logical explanation is that it desensitises and alters the image that you run through your mind when you think about your phobia or an issue that is upsetting you.

You see, each time we experience something like a phobia we run a picture trough our minds of what ‘might happen’. It is this that makes us feel bad and not actually being in the situation as this is just a trigger for the phobic response.

By running through this picture in your head, whilst doing things like humming, tapping and moving your eyes, this allows your mind to experience the image differently. It allows the image to morph, thus allowing you to feel differently about it.

So there you have it… Emotional Freedom Technique may seem a bit quirky, but it might just be the thing for you!

Mentor for hire services eases your move to mexico

Sometimes I marvel at how my wife and I arrived in Guanajuato, Mexico, with so little Spanish and with so few cultural skills. Somehow we managed to survive some pretty severe bumps in the expatriation road. It was in our ninth month of living here when we decided we were sufficiently equipped to handle venturing away from the warm and secure nest that we rented from an American expatriate who had excellent bilingual skills. We believed we were ready to live in "real Mexico" and to cut the ties from this informal but very secure situation. We had a good guy who helped us out, a lot, when the frequent confusion of trying to adapt to a new culture overwhelmed us. We were not ready and could have used someone as a mentor to continue to guide us through our language fumbles and our attempts to develop bicultural fluency.

I don't think I can begin to explain all the various things that can go wrong when you get it into your head to live in another country, especially Mexico. And, wrong they do go. These days, so many Americans and Canadians seem to be attracted to the Prime Living Locations in Mexico where well-developed Gringo infrastructures already exist. Some of these cities are Lake Chapala, Ajijic, Puerto Vallarta, and San Miguel de Allende. However, the prices in these cities are now so high that many of those retiring Americans who once could move into these areas are finding it difficult. Therefore, they are resorting to new expat frontiers like Guanajuato.

My wife and I had no clue when we moved here that so many have been silently moving into the Marfil area of Guanajuato and buying up property. Nor did we know how many well-laid plans were in effect to buy up housing in the city with the intent of renovating the properties and turning a profit by opening Bed and Breakfasts or reselling the newly remodeled house at a hefty profit. It's happening. People are flooding into Guanajuato.

But, OMG, the things that can go wrong without facility in the language and culture! Misunderstandings are guaranteed. Hurt feelings are a sure thing. The Gringo thinks he is prepared and oh, how he is not!

Even if you are just planning on living here to try it out, maybe rent a lovely little villa or casita, stuff goes wrong and hits the fan.

A city in Mexico where no Gringolandia has existed is not going to have that well-honed Gringo infrastructure the other cities have. How the Gringo is treated in a city accustomed to a large Gringolandia and how they are treated in a city like Guanajuato, that has a small but developing Gringolandia, will be as different as night and day.

The first most obvious thing is English is NOT going to be widely spoken. This has been a bane for not only potential Gringo expats but for Gringo tourists as well. To avoid a meltdown requiring a ton or two of Prozac to calm you, get it into your head that where there are few to no Gringolandians running around the place, there is not going to be a plethora of bilingual or bicultural Mexicans to help you. It will pretty much be "Se Habla espaсol" only.

Are you planning a trip to Mexico as a sort of reconnaissance mission to an area of Mexico that you think might be fun to be one of the first to "Go where few Gringos have gone before?" How will you master making reservations in a hotel, hostel, Bed and Breakfast when the person on the other end of the phone has no idea what you are babbling in English? Couldn't someone paving the way for you, mastering the headaches before your arrival, be the ticket?

If you want to see the need for this, just take a gander at the many online travel forums and see what they are writing on the Guanajuato pages. One of the biggest complaints is that American tourists think they have made reservations set in stone and when they arrive here, no one has heard this poor American was coming. If, perchance, the reservation was waiting for them, the American all too often finds none of the extras they asked for.

This nightmare you read on the travel forums is multiplied to the power of infinity and beyond when the Gringos wants do more than just plan a trip to Mexico.

If the Gringo wants to study in Mexico, what happens when the school that promised to pick you up at the airport doesn't show? And, if by some miracle you manage to make it from the airport to the prearranged homestay with a Mexican family, what if the Mexican family whose address you were given as your accommodation has no idea what you are talking about because you only speak English and the family only speaks Spanish? What if the house at the address you were given is vacant?

What about retiring to Mexico? Do you want to rent or buy first? Do you want to build from scratch? Do you want proper documentation to get into the country? What about all the permisos you are required to have to remodel or build a house in Mexico? Want to invest in rental property? The problems associated with this venture are infamously legion and, should I say it, legendary!

Even if all you want is to rent a scrawny little casita, the potential for your naivetй getting you ripped off is magnified.

We have this pal who came to Mexico with virtually no linguistic skills. He rented a house from a Mexican woman who convinced him that if he paid a six-month lump sum for his rental, she would cut him a deal for a discount. He paid and she flew the coop with his money. A few weeks later, the real landlord showed up wanting his rent. The lady had scammed him. She wasn't even the landlord of the property.

And all my friend wanted to do was rent a place in Guanajuato. Imagine what waits for you if you want to buy property, try to secure your own permisos, handle your own visas, and so on.

Having someone who is bilingual, bicultural, and whom you pay to represent you in your expat adventure is not only needed but the time is ripe for such services. I predict this sort of "mentoring for hire" service will have a huge surge in the days to come when our fellow monolingual Americans, realizing they can't afford retirement in America, will be knocking on the door of Mexico.

Going for a scuba diving understand first the real safety issue of the underwater world

Scuba diving is one of the great adventures that one can take to explore the vast wonders of the underworld that cannot be seen on the surface of the water. This is an underwater activity where the diver utilizes breathing equipment or scuba apparatus to be able to stay underwater for longer period of time. To those who are less knowledgeable about scuba, the name was actually derived from its acronym of “Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus”. Scuba diving can be both a recreational and professional diving activity.

Scuba diving activities are present where open waters and reefs are located. It is mostly ideal in clear tropical oceans where you can gaze from a long distance and see the sea life that inhabits it. Although there are many famous scuba diving spots around the world, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to limit your adventure to these vacation destinations. There are still multitudes of oceans, lakes, and seas that are perfect for scuba diving. The only thing that you should remember is the right scuba equipment, the proper scuba diving suit, and other scuba diving accessories, and how to survive underwater.

You can experience all the fun that scuba diving promises provided you are able to understand what safety is all about underwater. Although scuba diving activity can be most exciting and thrilling to think, once you confront the seascapes beneath the seawater the experience could be a lot different. If you’re not experienced enough in the activity, you might find yourself lacking the ability to embrace the true essence that diving should suppose to provide you with. Even professional and experienced divers do not think they have enough knowledge. In fact, they never contradict the idea of continually equipping themselves with a new knowledge or two.

The sea world is not for humans, but rather to sea creatures. Humans are not like these creatures that have full understanding on the world underwater which accounts on how they survive on their own. The sea masks a very deceptive faзade. It may be captivating to look at on its surface but when you descend into its real world you will find its true inhospitable nature where sea creatures that inhabit it can be traitors to humans. It is for this matter that divers should be able to learn of the unreceptive sea world because safety is the real issue here.

If you think you are not capable yet to carry on with underwater activities, it would be best for you to take scuba diving lessons. You can enroll in scuba diving schools and there you can acquire all you need to know about the seawater adventure. Classes will tackle everything starting from the proper wearing of the scuba diving gears such as the air tanks, gauges and facemasks to jumping into the water with full gear on. If you’re a neophyte in the activity, you may feel weird and strange swimming with those suits and gears on but you will outgrow this feeling.

Scuba diving schools typically use pool dives as their facilities from which scuba diving students are trained first. This is the part of the lesson from which you can discover if you got the potential to become a professional in the industry. The average starter scuba diving course will usually take four to eight weeks of training. During this time, you should be able to learn enough to take your first recreational scuba diving activity. Failure to do so would mean taking another course of the lesson.

Codependent relationships takers and caretakers

Takers and caretakers – they often seem to find each other! As a counselor who has worked with relationships for 37 years, I can tell you that this is the most frequent relationship dynamic that I encounter.

Takers are people who tend to be narcissistic – that is, they are self-centered with an excessive need for attention and admiration. The taker attempts to control getting love, attention, approval or sex from others with anger, blame, violence, criticism, irritation, righteousness, neediness, invasive touch, invasive energy, incessant talking and/or emotional drama. The taker uses many forms of both overt and covert control to get the attention he or she wants.

Takers not only want a lot of control, but are often afraid of being controlled and become overtly or covertly resistant to doing what someone else wants them to do. The taker might resist with denial, defending, procrastination, rebellion, irresponsibility, indifference, withdrawal, deadness, numbness, rigidity, and/or incompetence.

In a relationship, takers operate from the belief that “You are responsible for my feelings of pain and joy. It is your job to make sure that I am okay.”

Caretakers, on the other hand, operate from the belief that “I am responsible for your feelings. When I do it right, you will be happy and then I will receive the approval I need.” Caretakers sacrifice their own needs and wants to take care of the needs and wants of others, even when others are capable of doing it themselves. Caretakers give to others from fear rather than love - they give to get.

Neither takers nor caretakers take responsibility for their own feelings and wellbeing. Takers generally attempt to have control over others’ giving them the attention and admiration they want in overt ways, while caretakers attempt to have control over getting approval in more covert ways, such as compliance, doing to much for others, and/or withholding their wants and opinions.

Because neither takers nor caretakers are taking care of themselves, they will each end up feeling angry, resentful, trapped, unappreciated, unseen, unloved, misunderstood, and/or unacknowledged.

I tell my clients that whenever they feel this way in a relationship, it is because they are expecting the other person to give them what they are not giving to themselves. When we are not seeing, valuing, acknowledging, or understanding ourselves, and when we are not attending to our own wants and needs, we will always feel upset when others treat us just like we are treating ourselves.

Codependent relationships – relationships of two takers, two caretakers, or a taker and a caretaker – will always run into problems. Many people leave these relationships, only to discover the same problems in their next relationships. Takers and caretakers can switch places in different relationships and over different issues, but the problems remain the same – anger, resentment, distance, lack of sexuality, boredom, feeling unloved and unloving.

There really is a way to heal this.

Relationships heal when individuals heal. When each partner does their inner work – for example practicing the Inner Bonding process that we teach (see innerbonding. com for a free course) – their relationship system heals. When each person learns to take full personal responsibility for his or her own feelings of pain and joy, they stop pulling on each other and blaming each other. When each person learns to fill themselves with love and share that love with each other, instead of always trying to get love, the relationship heals.

Learning how to take100% responsibility for your own feelings is one of the essential ingredients in creating a healthy relationship. This means learning to be conscious of what you are feeling and being open to learning about what you are doing to create your own feelings, instead of being a victim and believing that others are causing your feelings. Your feelings come from how you treat yourself and others, from what you tell yourself and what you believe about yourself and others, rather than from others behavior. Blaming others for your feelings will always lead to major relationship problems.

Why not start today by taking your eyes off your partner and putting them squarely on yourself? In reality, you are the only one you actually have control over. You are the only one you can change.

Freecell master of the universe

In the days before laptops, video games for me pretty much reached the apex in the Space Invaders/Asteroids era, and I never played them at home. I played them in bars, where it was a good way a) to kill time and b) avoid being stinking drunk by only 9:30pm. Idle hands are the devil's workshop, especially if one of them is constantly wrapped around a twelve-ounce Budweiser.

Of course, once one outgrows the bar scene which I plan to do any day now many of the things associated with it begin to lose their luster as well. I can't shoot pool nearly as well as I used to, not that I was any sort of Mosconi Fats to begin with, but that is not the point.

But I am totally lost in today's laptop gaming world. Nor do I own an X-Box, Playstation, or Wii (which looks to me like a misspelled abbreviation of World War II). I know nothing of controllers, game pads, or joysticks.

When I first got started on laptops, Tetris was all the rage. I tried it a few times, but soon lost interest. Then along came Solitaire. Vegas Solitaire. Vegas 3-Card Solitaire!

I was hooked. My co-workers and I set up marathon games on the single laptop in our workspace, going for days without rebooting. Woe unto him who wiped out our steadily increasing winnings. We didn't care if it wasn't real money. It was the thrill of the thing.

Then the world changed. I bought my first personal laptop. I landed a new job where, for the most part, I was working alone. The camaraderie that made marathon games of Vegas 3-Card Solitaire so enjoyable was no longer there. My gaming days, it seems, were finally at an end.

Then somebody showed me how to play Freecell.

I became a man obsessed. At first, the object was to win. Every loss was personal, every victory a reason for celebration. My winning percentage climbed into the 70-80 percent range, then into the 90s.

But it wasn't enough. Winning was no longer the only thing. I wanted to win PRETTY. It became an OC thing, and I ain't talking Orange County. The idea was to line up all my cards on my laptop screen in neat little rows, Kings on top, deuces on bottom, side by side, until clicking that last little card preferably the 48th releasing the aces and sending the whole deck skittering to the top as I basked in the beauty of it all :Freecell Master of The Universe.

Wealthy marketer two reasons not to join

“This offer is not for everybody.”

That is an exact headline taken from the Wealthy Marketer website. Why would the brand new online business named Wealthy Marketer and founded by CEO Alex Hunter not be for everybody? Well, I have decided to give my personal opinion of this program and find out who this offer is really for.

There are so many online business opportunities available today. Many people make claims of significant income, while others make claims of being burned or scammed. It is easy to see why there is confusion of which businesses are legitimate.

While I was in the gathering information stage of whether I wanted to join Wealthy Marketer I discovered two valuable facts.

The Compensation Plan:

The first valuable fact; Wealthy Marketer is the first online business ever to offer its clients a compensation plan that pays on 3-tiers and does not involve the more well-known “pass-ups” procedures.

The program costs $1497 to join. The first payout tier offers a commission of $900, the second level offers a commission of $200 and the third level produces a commission of $100. Basically a member who joins makes 3 separate payments to the three sponsoring affiliates 3 tiers up in the genealogy line of membership. Additionally a fourth payment is made to the Wealthy Marketer administration of $297 bringing the total investment to $1497.

The Money Back Guarantee:

The second valuable fact; Wealthy Marketer is the first online business ever to offer clients a money back guarantee. If an affiliate member fails to make at least 1 sale of $900 within their first 120 days of membership CEO Alex Hunter will personally refund their money out of his own pocket.

Those who are familiar with various online money-making opportunities will surely be able to recognize how rare it is to have a money back guarantee in place. The major flaw with this guarantee is it only holds Wealthy Marketer accountable; meaning that a member is not held accountable to doing the work. If someone fails to even attempt to make this program work, they will still receive a refund. Nothing is in place to protect Wealthy Marketer, the company, and Alex Hunter, the founder, from lazy members who fail to perform any work.

Due to the facts that this program offers two industry firsts, namely the 3-tier compensation plan and the money back guarantee, there would only be two reasons not to join Wealthy Marketer in my view.

Reason #1 Not To Join:

The first reason why “this offer is not for everybody” is not being able to initially afford the $1497 investment required to join.

Reason #2 Not To Join:

The second reason why “this offer is not for everybody” is the potential member really is not serious about achieving their financial goals like they may claim to be.

The common excuses, complaints and reasons people create about why they might be burned or scammed into losing money should not exist with a money back guarantee in place. The common excuses of “can’t” should be history.

Unfortunately it is of my personal opinion many people are really looking to get something for nothing in life. Rather than performing the work needed to make money, many people place the blame or the responsibility of failure on the shoulders of another instead of their own.

My opinion is if someone truly is serious about making more money by leveraging the power of the internet, they would join a program like Wealthy Marketer. There really isn’t anything to lose.

Lastly, this brings me back to the website headline of “this offer is not for everybody.” Unless someone just can’t afford to start a business online, the only people who would turn down this offer would be the excuse makers. This offer is not for those who are hoping to achieve their financial goals by wishful magic. This offer is only for people who know how to work.

Expensive useless software. don t get caught out

This is a piece of advice for those people intent on making a living from the internet who have been conned into buying, or are thinking of buying, software that automatically places comments in blogs.

This is called spamming, and you have wasted your money. The people who sold you the software have told you lies. They have suggested that blogmasters won’t notice your spam, will accept it if it is inoffensive, or the software you spent so much money on will place your comments so far down the blog calendar that the blog owner won’t even notice they are there.

None of this is true.

When you add a comment to most blogs, the owner gets an automatic email message announcing that there is a comment waiting for approval. At this stage your comment hasn’t been published and your link is not visible to the search engines. Owners don’t even have to go to their blogs. They can delete your message (which they can see) right from that email and that’s what thousands of blog owners do.

Your comment never sees the light of day, you gain nothing by attempting to post it and you have been ripped off for $97 or more for a useless piece of software. Please wise up. You will not make a fortune on the internet using these methods. In fact, you are unlikely to even make 1 cent. The people making the money are the ones selling you the software.

Take my advice, demand your money back right now while you are still in the guarantee period. If enough spammers see the light and do that these sharks preying on internet minnows will go out of business, and the web will be well rid of them.

You can make money in reasonable amounts from the internet if you stick to legitimate ways of doing it and work hard. If you use spamming techniques, please don’t think you won’t be noticed. You will rapidly build a reputation that will put you on the outside of the marketing community (it’s smaller than you think) in no time at all. If you sell the software as an affiliate, no-one who has bought it will ever forget that you ripped them off.

There are no short cuts to internet business success. The people who sell this kind of software don’t actually use it themselves, they just pretend that they do and get others in their joint venture circle to support them in their claims, for which they in turn receive a commission.

These so-called program designers, most of whom use outside programmers, have put a huge amount of time and money into these software investments, relying on the gullibility of people looking for a fast buck to earn them their returns.

Don’t be a sucker. Demand your money back right now. The software you bought is useless. Do you really think that blog owners like me don’t keep an eye on the comments that are posted and are happy to allow any rubbish in? Would you?

Give these snake oil salesmen the flick and help to make the internet a better place to do business in.

Teens and adhd

:
Teens with ADHD have a very difficult life. This condition is one that you may not even realize that your child has. In many cases, the symptoms are so few that you do not see that it is there. In fact, they know it is, but you do not. ADHD is a learning disability and a behavior disability that causes many more problems than just a temper tantrum when they are five years old. ADHD teens face many problems throughout their childhoods and well into their adult lives. What should be done for teens with ADHD?

Here are some things you, as parents, can do for your teens with ADHD.

Get them tested for the condition. If your child struggles with remaining focused, seems to be smart but fails tests, or struggles with some of the simplest of things but excels in those that are more difficult, he may have this condition. Talk to their doctor about how to get the test and find out.

Medication. Medication is available to help children with ADHD. Before you questions if your child needs it, determine what the benefits of taking it would be. For some children, it can give them self control, self worth and help them to finally feel good about what they are doing. For others, it does not provide a noticeable benefit.

Give them time. Many ADHD teens will do well if they are given enough time to finish tasks and problems. For that reason, it is essential to clue your child's school in on your child's problem. They can provide extra help and encouragement for them.

Take the time to understand what it is like to be a teen with ADHD. Unless you have this condition yourself, you need to realize that it is hard. It is not their fault they can not pay attention. It is not their fault that they do not understand what they teacher is saying. And, it is not their fault that these things frustrate them so much so that they explode. Take the time to really understand them.

ADHD teens need extra learning help and they need emotional support. The teen years are already hard to deal with. Teens with ADHD have it just that much harder as it is.

Retail and shopping

About seven years ago, at the dawn of the new millennium, many people regarded internet shopping as a taboo, something unheard of, with one of the main reasons being a lack of trust placed in the payment system. How do we know our details will be safe, is an example of one of the many questions asked. Yet in today’s fast paced world that taboo has turned into a revolution. With thousands of online stores, people are using internet shopping more and more these days. From electronic and specialist goods, right down to basic grocery shopping, you could survive in this life without ever having to leave your front door for any forms of purchases. So if you are still in the dark about how it all works and how to get started, this article will hopefully enlighten you and turn you into a committed online shopper.

Yet before I show you some of the best places to order online, you may still have your doubts at how safe your credit card details are, so to begin with it might be best to explain how your details are protected and how to maximize your safety.

When it comes to online shopping, you will always have what is known as a basket to place your goods in. Once you have chosen everything you want, you go to the checkout service. Like any old store, this is where you hand over the money, although instead of a person doing it, it’s a computer. All online shopping websites will have a secure payment system, with all sorts of protection coded into their sites to enable maximum security against hackers (in fact in most cases of fraud on the internet, attackers use viruses on your computer to steal details meaning the site has nothing to do with it at all). All you have to do is enter your credit card details and their computer will do the rest. Sounds a bit scary at first, as how do you know they won’t keep your details? Well, there are steps you can take to ensure you are on a trusted site, with their payment system approved by a respectable third party.

For starters, when you go to the checkout screen, it is always useful to look at the address bar where it would normally say shoppingsite. com. If you are on a secure checkout page (and if you are not, do not use it!) instead of having at the start, it should say https://. The s stands for secure, so make sure its there!

This might seem a little technical to someone not used to computers, so there are other ways to check whether or not you should shop on certain sites. For example, if you can not use your credit or debit card on there, it would be advisable to steer well clear. Credit and debit cards have insurance and protection plans to repair misuse of your details. If you end up paying with a bank transfer for instance, and your account is hacked, that person has got access to your entire bank account instead of say a low limit credit card where it will be blocked if suspicious usage is found on it. Even more the damage would be far more severe as not all banks pay back what you loose.

So now that you are hopefully up to speed on secure internet shopping, now might be a good time to explain to you exactly where you can go to shop. Well, firstly it depends on what you want. One of the most internationally renowned sites is Amazon ( amazon. com). It is available in multiple countries with its own site for each one, and sells nearly everything except clothes and food. For instance, if you are after a mobile phone, it is more than likely that Amazon will have the one you are looking for, and normally at a reduced rate, while if you are searching for the new Stephen king book, its bound to be on there. Because Amazon is so internationally renowned, you are going to be very safe shopping with them. In fact, you might end up logging on to Amazon and finding you have bought tons of stuff you would never have dreamed of buying as they recommend products to you based on the searches you make on their site.

Yet while Amazon has nearly every popular product, it might be extremely hard to find certain niche and especially older items. It might be possible that it does not have what you want in stock either, and this can present problems. This is where eBay comes into the picture. If you have not heard of eBay at some point, then you are missing out. eBay is the world’s largest online auction site with millions of users selling stuff every day. If what you are looking for has been discontinued on certain sites and stores, then eBay might have what you are after. People sell all sorts of junk on there which you can bid for, and if bidding for old tat is not your thing, then you can log onto eBay express which contain new businesses selling brand new products for fixed prices.

Finally, if for some reason you can not find what you are looking for on eBay, you can always turn to Google’s Froogle. While that phrase may sound strange, the acclaimed search engine Google has set up a special search engine called Froogle (froogle. google. com/) which search’s online shops for the best prices for the products that you are after. All you do is enter the product that you want and it will search through thousands of sites to find you the best prices and gives you the links to them. In fact, you do not even have to log onto Amazon or eBay as Froogle searches them for you to.

Hopefully now that you’re coming to the end of this article, you’ve realized that online shopping is not as a harrowing experience as you might have through, and you are now prepared to take your first steps into this cyber world that we seem to inhabit in these modern times.

How important is battery in your mobile phone

Mobile phone battery is like an in-build powerhouse of your mobile phone. There are varieties of batteries for varying capacity of mobile phones. A battery is a very important component in a mobile phone as it supplies low electrical power for its functioning. Battery technology for mobile phones has been witnessing continuous improvements, which actually help the production of newer sophisticated mobile phones.

The older type batteries like Ni-Cad require regular and complete discharge before its recharging. But, the newer type batteries like Li-Ion and NiMH does not require any such practice. All these types of batteries have a limit of current load that can be preserved in it and this is usually measured in milliampres (mAH). Depending on various characters, mobile phone batteries are classified into many types in which Ni-Cad batteries are older type and the newer are Lithium-Ion batteries.

The NiMH Batteries

The NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) type of batteries are one that used widely today because of the fact that it does not require complete discharge before starting recharge like in a NiCad battery. For this advantageous reason, they are largely used in mobile phones and even in laptops.

This important aspect makes NiMH batteries supported by large number of consumers, as they do not hamper you by servicing the batteries every time before recharge.

The other main advantage with the battery is that it stores more power than of Ni-Cad and Alkaline batteries. Still it has an obstacle for their users that it discharges by itself within a quicker period of time, which makes it not practical for longer storage.

The Li-Ion Batteries

The Lithium-Ion batteries are new to the market and have the lowest discharge rate compared to Ni-Cad and NiMH batteries. They are nothing to do with complete discharge before recharge and so, today they are widely used in mobile phones. They are excellent to use because of their low-weight, which make devices such as mobile phones and video cameras more portable.

The Li-Polymer Batteries

This is the most new type battery used in the market. They are the most successful today for mobiles phones due to their potential of higher storage and low-weight.

In addition to knowing the battery types, also you need to adopt some practice to maximize the life of whichever mobile phone battery you use. One of them is cleaning the dirty battery contacts, which is the main problem of charging the batteries. So, clean the battery contact of your mobile phones regularly. Batteries that are kept unused for longtime lose their storage capacity. So, once started with a battery, it should be used until it expires. Following all this you can have a long going battery for your mobile phone, importantly can prevent yourself from being spent extra to purchase another battery.

Your ex girlfriend s qualities - a possible threat to your present relationship

You are out from a long time relationship; no

matter if she left you or you have left her. You

are free now to do what you want and to meet who

you want, when you want.

After a while you feel that you are ready to get

in a new relationship. You even have met a nice

girl who looks like she is interested in you.

Slowly, things are getting more serious and you

get to know better your new partner.

But something is bothering you, and you don't

know what it is. Than you realize that she is not

doing things like you were used to be done, she

is not doing things like your ex used to make

them (it's not about all things, but those you

loved at your ex).

Last days I have met a friend of mine I haven't

seen for a long time. It was a surprise for me

when a nice girl comes to us, and he has

introduced her like his girlfriend. I didn't know

that he has broken up with his ex, which is a

very sexy, feminine woman.

After, his new girlfriend left, I asked my friend

what happened with his ex and how things are

going in his new relationship. He told me that he’

s in this new relationship for over 7 months, his

girlfriend is a nice woman and he has nothing to

blame her.

But, something is missing. He was used to be with

a very feminine woman, which enjoyed her woman

qualities all the time. He confessed me that it

is very difficult for him to get used to live

without some things which he has experimented

before and he knows that does exist.

He also told me something that made me smile: 'If

I could take my ex qualities and put them next to

my new partner's qualities I would make the

perfect women for me.' :)

But how good it could be if we would be able to

make the perfect woman? Not so good as we all

think, believe me. I say it all the time,

perfection is boring.

However, a person after a breakup has to think

mostly to the reasons for the breakup with his ex

and not to her qualities. I am sure that you have

very good reasons to break up with a person which

who you have spend years together.

Relief you from your past relationship and let

your new girlfriend make you happy in her own way.

Learn to enjoy your girl’s qualities and

personality and don't make your ex girlfriend’s

qualities a problem for your present or future

relationships.

Games which are the easiest to play

:
Here is a guide to the best online games. Find yourself winning, or at least not necessary losing in the long run. The best casino games are games that have a low house edge or games where by practicing your skill you can have an advantage over the casino. Those with the lowest house edge are blackjack and video poker. By improving the skill with which you play poker and blackjack, you gain an advantage over the other player or over the casino.

House Edge:
First, here is an explanation about the term house edge. The house edge is the way the casinos create an artificial advantage over the player to ensure their profits. The advantage is created by not paying the true odds. The house edge is the gap between the true odds and the odds the casino actually pays out for a winning.

Here is an example for clarification. The true odds in an American roulette game are 37:1. However, if you place a one dollar bet, you would be paid 35 dollars instead of 37 dollars, which are the true odds. The two dollars gap between the true odds and the actual payout is the casino house edge. You can calculate American roulette house edge by dividing 2 dollars by 38. The result is 5.26 percent.

Poker:
This is an exceptional casino game. It is the only casino game where you play against the other players instead of competing against the casino. There is not a house edge in poker. Instead, most casinos ensure their profits by collecting a rake, which is a certain percentage of the pot used to cover expenses. Other casinos charge each player by the hour.

Poker is the best casino game to play if you are a skilled player. A skilled player with experience, excellent knowledge in certain game rules, smart strategy and an ability to read facial expressions would have an advantage over the less skilled poker players, especially those who rely on their good fortune.

Blackjack:
This is the only casino game where the advantage can be shifted from the player to the dealer. When you are playing blackjack and using an optimal strategy, the house edge can be lower than 0.5 percent. You can increase your odds of winning and lower the house edge by learning the strategy based on the mathematics of the game.

Another way to lower the casino advantage in blackjack is by card counting. A skilled card counter can adjust his bets and his strategy according to the proportion between high cards and low cards. Mastering card counting requires skill and practice. In addition, since casinos are not especially welcoming card counters to their blackjack tables, you should also practice your hiding skills.

Video Poker:
The resemblance between video poker and slot machine sometimes causes confusion. Nevertheless, contrasting to slot machine, video poker is a game of skill. Playing video poker using an optimal strategy can lower its house edge to less than half percent. As opposed to slot machines, in video poker machine the pay table on the front of the machine enables you to determine the expected return of the game.

For example:
1) In a 9/6 Jacks or Better video poker machine, the expected return percentage can be as high as 99.5 percent.
2) In a 8/5 Jacks or Better machine the return percentage can be 97.3 percent and 95 percent in a 6/5 Jacks or Better video poker machine.
3) In a full paying Deuces Wild machine, the expected return percentage can be 100.17 percent.

Baby diapers disposable or cloth

Diapers made of cloth are a reasonably priced method to start your small kid on with potty training. Diapers that are disposable are uncomplicated and trouble free, nevertheless they get to be a lot costly over the two, three, four or possibly even five years when your kid could do with diapers. Diapers made of cloth are similarly easy to work with.

Quantity needed

The foremost thing to find out is "the number of diapers I will need”. This will count on how frequently your kid has to be cleaned up and how frequently you would like to wash the diapers. You would have to multiply how frequently you would like to clean the diapers by the number of times in a single day you usually have to clean up your kid. You certainly would want five to ten diapers as a stockpile.

The extra supplies

Once you have got the quantity of diapers that you would require, a number of additional provisions such as covers and pins will be desirable. They both can be purchased where diapers are put up for sale. You can make use of the 'plastic pants' as wraps or purchase special wraps sold in online stores. You would require a location to pile up the dirty diapers as well. Nearly all parents make use of a diaper container, but a few of them fill up the washer and put every one of the diapers inside the washer and simply operate the machine at the ending of every day.

Diaper container

There are 2 kinds of diaper containers that you can make use of - a dry container and a wet container.

A dry container is simply a diaper container that is vacant. You can simply put your dirty diapers inside the container. Nearly all parents will put in diapers along with BM inside the lavatory or the basin prior to putting in the container. You can make use of baking soda in order to help out with the stench. The wet technique consists of a vinegar and water combination to counterbalance the ammonia. You would prefer to look for the combination that is just perfect for you.

Cleansing

You can cleanse diapers in the similar detergent you make use of for your kid’s laundry. Make use of something that is mild on your kid’s skin. You should cleanse using hot water and rinse using cold water. Do not make use of liquid cloth softener. It would hinder with the diaper’s capacity to soak up. Do not make use of bleach.

If there are marks that you would like to make an effort and get rid off, hang up the diapers in the sunshine. You may dry diapers made of cloth in the dryer. Never make use of a cloth softener dryer sheet. Just like liquid cloth softener, it would minimize the soaking up of the fabric. You would also desire to stay away from Ivory Snow and Deft for cleansing the diapers made of cloth. Despite the fact that these are good for the baby's clothes, yet they consist of fabric softeners.

Best of luck for your new journey. Thank you for maintaining the surroundings hygienic and harmless.

Conquering the antibiotic-resistant superbugs

Since its discovery in 1928 by the Scottish scientist named Sir Ian Fleming, doctors have been prescribing penicillin to patients for the cure of everything from minor infections to life-threatening diseases. In medical terms, penicillin is classified as an antibiotic. An antibiotic is a chemical compound that inhibits or abolishes the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, or protozoa. Over 100 different antibiotics are now available in the market. Although antibiotics are useful in a wide variety of infections, it is important to note that antibiotics only treat bacterial infections.

Perhaps, if he were alive today, it would surprise Sir Fleming to discover that the organisms that were wiped out by the first generation of penicillin that he developed had somehow made a comeback. Through research and disease surveillance, doctors and researchers have found that certain organisms were able to evolve and adapt defenses to some antibiotics. Once thought to have been “conquered” by penicillin, some strains of germs and other harmful organisms have become resistant to antibiotic. These organisms on the rebound have been called by scientists and other experts from the medical community as “superbugs.”

Antibiotic resistance is the ability of a microorganism to withstand the effects of an antibiotic. It is a specific type of drug resistance. Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria change and adapt to the action or chemical effects of a drug that is designed to cure or prevent infections. Once the bacteria adapts and survives the onslaught of the drug, it is able to develop resistance and continue its harmful reproduction inside a host.

MRSA or Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus is one among a number of organisms that have been found to be resistant to commonly used antibiotics. It is classified as a staph bacteria that triggers infections that could worsen into a life-threatening condition. Methicillin was an antibiotic used many years ago to treat patients with Staphylococcus Aureus infections. However, today, it is no longer used except as a means of identifying this particular type of antibiotic resistance.

Experts say that the MRSA superbug can cause pneumonia and serious bone and skin infections. It had already claimed the lives of infected children who did not receive adequate medication and health care. It also been reported that MRSA can rapidly multiply and infect people in close physical contact with other people. People who are frequently in crowded places like day care centers, prison cells, and other cramped areas are at high risk for infections.

An individual could become a carrier of MRSA in the same way that they can become a carrier of ordinary Staphylococcus aureus. Infection is spread through physical contact with an infection person. If the infectious organism is on the skin, then it can also be passed around via skin-to-skin contact. If the organism is in the nose or has infected the lungs, it may be spread via droplets spread from the mouth and nose during sneezing or contact with an infected person's saliva. Resistance of infectious organisms can be tested through the use clinical implements and chemicals. This test is usually done over a period of two to three days to determine the level of resistance of an organism to antibiotics.

Superbugs organisms are often associated with patients in hospitals but can also be found on patients not in a hospital. It is not necessary to do anything about MRSA organisms. However, if these superbugs are passed on to someone who is already ill, then a more serious infection may occur to that person. When patients with MRSA are discovered in a hospital, the hospital will usually try to prevent it from passing around to other patients. This measure is known as infection control.

The type of infection control or isolation required for any patient depends on the organism. It usually rests on where the organisms is found on an individual and the patient. Contact Isolation is the most important type of isolation required for MRSA. This requires everyone in contact with the patient to be very careful about hand washing after touching either the patient or anything that came to contact with the patient. Cleaning of surfaces are also important since dust and surfaces can become contaminated with the organism. This is usually done when the patient leaves the hospital.

However, though it seems like these superbugs are extremely powerful, if a patient is given multiple antibiotics, they can be fought off. One of the lifesaving drugs that is said to combat MRSA is vancomycin. Vancomycin has been reserved by hospitals as the drug of last resort. Experts said that this medicine may cause some serious side effects, including damage to your hearing and kidneys. Though vancomycin has its own side effects, it can at least fight those superbugs away.

Diamonds why they are the most coveted gems

As the saying goes, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.” Ask any woman for that matter and you would find out that majority prefer diamonds over any other type of gem when it comes to jewelry. Diamonds adorn engagement rings and wedding rings as well. True, these stones come with a price (and what an expensive price it is) but every woman whether she can afford it or not would want to have these stones whether it be given or purchased. This could probably be attributed to the fact that having a diamond is a symbol of wealth and also because investing in these types of jewelry is considered a valuable investment whose value appreciates through the years.

Dating back to ancient times, diamonds have been worn by people in authority especially those in royalty to symbolize power, might and bravery. In fact, the word “diamond” which is derived from Adamas (which is Greek) means invincible, cannot be conquered. This is probably why the diamond has been used as a symbol of love since love conquers all.

Diamonds are expensive because they are rare and precious. In fact it takes tons of ores to produce even just a carat of diamond. They are also being sought after because of its sheer beauty and the mystery that it holds. Diamonds truly fascinate anybody given the opportunity to behold it in all its beauty.

Most people may be more familiar with the clear colorless diamonds or those with just a slight hint of color but actually you can also find natural fancy color diamonds that are quite rare and very expensive as well. They can come in the colors pink, red and green which are the rare ones as well as shades of brown or yellow which are the more common ones. When you are looking for a diamond to purchase you need to bear in mind certain considerations which are known in the jewelry industry as the 4C’s in buying diamonds. It is important that you take into consideration the color, cut, clarity and carat. A fifth C that you could also include would be cost.

It is important in buying these precious stones to have an idea of how to choose them appropriately to avoid being deceived by retail jewelers who may be out to defraud or give you something of a lesser value for what you will be paying for.

A man s guide to women s lingerie

As men and women all over the world share their warmth on these cold wintry nights, a celebration of love looms on the horizon, and with it, the promise of the coming spring, The rituals of Valentines Day so often consists of a box of chocolates and some roses, followed by dinner, and an expectation of some better than the usual sex. Ever wonder if it could get any better than this? It can.

Here’s a wake up call to men of all ages. It’s up to you to make it better. Take hold of the reins and do the unexpected. Surprise your baby and she’ll surprise you beyond your wildest expectations. Give her some sexy lingerie for, then sit back and enjoy the show! Lingerie – the gift that keeps on giving!

Women love to look pretty, men love to look at pretty women, so what’s the problem here? Granted, most men’s ultimate goal is to get their women naked, but throw into the equation a tightly laced bustier with a skirted garter and fishnet hose – heck, getting there is half the fun!

Lingerie comes in many styles and materials and is conveniently available online (for those of us who don’t particularly want to make a trip to Victoria’s Secret). Online lingerie retailers ship their products discreetly in plain boxes so as not to spill the beans to the neighbors, your wife, or the person you want to surprise. And there’s good news for those men who like their women big: plenty of stores out there that offer plus size lingerie, up to 3X!

With all this in mind, men need to become educated consumers in a world of lingerie that is primarily dominated by women. It is for this reason that I have taken it upon myself to write this informative Man’s Guide to Women’s Lingerie”.

Corsets and Bustiers: a history of lingerie

As recently as the 1830's, the corset was thought of as a medical necessity. Being that women were the weaker sex, they needed the support of a laced corset to hold them up for any length of time. Girls from the ages of two or three began their lives being strapped in daily to a tight laced corset. Unfortunately for the women, by the time they reached their prime they were unable to stand or sit upright for very long without getting the "vapors".

Early corsets were made from canvas, (plenty of that around from all the sailing ships) and had laces all the way up the back pulled so tight as to make it darn near impossible to draw a deep breath. Needless to say, the prevailing fashion (or fetish) of the day was a very small waist line.

Today’s modern corset is made from softer and suppler materials such as silk, satin and lace, (as well as leather) to name a few. It is designed to accentuate a woman’s curves, not to alter them. For many men there is nothing more arousing than the sight of a willing accomplice all dressed up in a tight, laced up leather corset, and it’s a turn on for the women too!

Out of the corset evolved the bustier, predecessor to the modern day brazier. It seems that men even back then liked to see their women’s breasts pushed up and squeezed together!

A bustier is basically an underwire bra that extends down to the waistline. Traditionally with a lace up front, today’s bustiers can fasten in a variety of ways. Zippers, snaps, hooks and eyes, (remember the trouble we had undoing bras in high school?) even Velcro seems to get the job done. Keep in mind the fastenings when considering a lingerie purchase. The removal of these garments can at times try a man’s patience. Remember the times when you’ve been asked to take it easy and slow down? Do it now and savor the moment!

Another popular lingerie design is what’s known as the Teddy. Similar to a corset in design, a teddy is a one piece suit that starts out as a bustier, extends down between the legs as a thong, and ends up fastening to the back of the bodice. Simple by definition, teddies can take the form of something resembling a harness, to a full fledged zippered, hooked, and laced corset with an attached thong. Many teddies come with garter belts attached, adding endless possibilities for some naughty, bad little girls’ psychopathic imagination to run wild with.

For the truly innocent, perpetual virgin nice girl look, consider the Baby Doll. A short mini hanging to the waist that can be worn with or without the matching bra and panties, the baby doll is usually made from some sheer, lightweight material with varying degrees of transparency. The baby doll lingerie style gets its name from; well…you figure it out!

Today, ladies lingerie is easier than ever to shop for. Do a search on lingerie and you’ll find a multitude of reputable lingerie dealers and merchants. Browse through their catalogs and you’re sure to find something that stirs your, um… interest.

Sizing is an issue that must be dealt with, and a good lingerie site will have size charts easily accessible. While lingerie is generally pretty forgiving size wise, (a lot of lingerie is marked one size fits all) you should know at a minimum if she’s a small, medium or large. If you see sizes like 32, 38, etc….why don’t you just ask her her size!

When shopping for lingerie, keep in mind that a gift of lingerie should stimulate both you and your partner. Get her something that you like, and don’t be afraid to push the envelope! Lingerie encompasses a huge variety of styles; from a couple of pasties and a thong to an elegant satin and lace gown with matching bra and panties!

Do not overlook the possibilities of Leather Lingerie. Leather has become mainstream and is not just for bikers and sado/masochists any more. Women love the feel of leather on their bare skin, and peeling off a tight leather teddy is a real treat!

Lingerie for your baby and you can’t lose! Give her a gift of lingerie, and you do yourself a favor! The gift that keeps on giving – all year round!

First time home buyer tips

For the first time home buyer, buying your first home is one of the most exciting things you will ever do. If you have spent years living in apartments, there is nothing more satisfying than owning your own property. The process can be a little lengthy and you might hit a few bumps in the road to home ownership. The following tips will help the first time homeowner avoid some of the hiccups.

Step one is to talk to a real estate agent about the home buying process. It should not be a sales meeting and you should be able to find an agent that will agree to meet with you about the basics without having to sign a sales agreement with them. If you cannot find a good agent to talk to, you might want to consider talking to a loan officer at your bank or a mortgage broker.

An equally important tip is to get your finances in order before you apply for a mortgage. Order a copy of your credit report so you can check it for accuracy. Mistakes are common and you want to make sure that there is no fraudulent activity. You have the right to dispute errors on your credit report. If you come across something that you know is an error, circle it and send it to the reporting agency along with a letter of dispute.

Next, you should really study the mortgage industry. You need to be able to find the right loan and lender most suitable for your needs. Familiarize yourself with industry terms like debt to income ratio and adjustable rate mortgage. Learn the difference between pre-approval and pre-qualified. It will all seem foreign at first, but taking the time to learn the business will spare you from headaches in the future.

Also, you need to figure out what your wants and needs are. What kinds of amenities are you looking for? How many bedrooms? One story or two story home? You also need to consider the size of the down payment and figure out what you need to do to come up with the money for it.

You must learn about how real estate agents work. There are buyers agents and sellers agents. A buyers agents responsibility is to negotiate the best deal for the buyer. The goal of the sellers agent is to get the price that the seller most desires. The best way to find the right agent is to ask your friends for suggestions. They have all probably been in the same boat, so they can probably recommend a good real estate agent.

When meeting with a potential agent, pay attention to how they treat you. Make sure they listen to you when you talk about what you want. Also, how are their follow up skills? Do they take the time to return your calls or emails? If they do not take the time to respond, move on. There is a better agent out there for you.

When looking for a home, consider all of the possibilities. Look up real estate agents websites. Do not rule out For Sale by Owner Properties and foreclosed homes. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) homes can often be found for very reasonable prices. You do need to find an agent that is approved to sell HUD homes if you choose to take that road to home ownership.

Before you even think about making an offer, you need to consider the resale value. You might plan on being there for a long time, but you just never know. You might opt for a different climate to alleviate your allergies or you could simply be transferred by your company. You want to pick a good location that will be attractive to others as well.

Another issue that cannot be ignored are the deed restrictions, which govern what you can and cannot do with the property. If it has always been your dream to have a pool, you want to make sure that you do not buy a home in a subdivision that will not allow it because of deed restrictions.

Home inspections are an important part of the equation. Talk to your agent to find out when the inspection will be performed. It varies state to state. Sometimes the inspection will be right before the contract is signed and other times, they are performed right after an offer is made.

Finally, make sure you stay on top of things. Any number of problems can crop up at the last minute and delay the purchase of your home. If you are not sure about something with the paperwork, do not be afraid to ask questions. You might think of something that everyone else has overlooked.

Purchasing a home is a time consuming and sometimes frustrating task, but it is worth it when you have your backyard barbeques.

From hola to hello teach english in mexico

Speaking English is an absolute requirement for Mexican citizens who wish to advance in a professional field. Because of close ties with the United States, many Mexican companies conduct a certain amount of their business in English. So, if you've decided to teach English in Mexico for a living, you can be rest assured that you've chosen a profession that's high in demand.

If you choose to teach English in Mexico you'll have the chance to experience firsthand the rich Mexican culture. Teachers are generally expected to live in the country for at least a year, and many choose to stay beyond that because Mexico is a truly beautiful place to live in. Whether you're teaching in a major metropolitan area or a small rural city, you'll find the Mexican experience uniquely enlightening and enriching.

Qualifications

In order to teach English in Mexico, you must be certified in TEFL or CELTA. These certifications qualify native English speakers to teach in a classroom setting. Getting certified is fairly easy - most colleges and learning centers offer short-term programs that can earn you your certificate in a matter of months.

Most importantly, you will be required to get a work permit in order to work in Mexico. It's vital to make sure your immigration papers are in order, because working illegally in Mexico leaves you open to deportation. Keep in mind that most Mexican work passes are good for only up to six months; at that point, you will most likely have to cross back into the US. Even entering the US for a matter of hours will reset your pass, and you'll be able to re-enter for another six months.

Application requirements in Mexico are sometimes inconsistent, and it's best to be over-prepared. Arrive with all possible paperwork in hand - bring your birth certificate, college transcripts, reference letters, and anything else you might possibly need. It's difficult to predict what you'll be asked for, and you'll want to spare yourself the expense and trouble of having to return home for something you didn't bring.

Finding a job

Those who plan to teach in Mexico should not plan on being hired before they arrive. Although in other countries you can often find a job before you head over, this is not common in Mexico. Your best bet is to research possible employment before you leave, and then get ready for an interview once you arrive in Mexico.

Most English teachers in Mexico are employed by schools. English is taught from elementary school on up through college, and native English speakers are always in high demand as teachers. However, you do have other options. Some companies will hire English teachers to train their employees in English communication. There are also numerous private language institutions that hold English classes, which any citizen can attend.

Depending on what type of teaching you wish to do, you may want to centralize your job search around a particular area. Mexico City and other large metro areas are the easiest places to find English teaching jobs. This is also where you're most likely to find good pay, decent hours, and acceptable housing.

There is honestly no real shortcut when it comes to finding a teaching job in Mexico. There are plenty of jobs available, but information is sometimes unreliable and you won't really know what you're getting into until you actually arrive at the location and apply for the job. This is another reason why finding a job before you get to Mexico just isn't feasible. So prepare yourself to do some legwork once you arrive.

Teaching English in Mexico is a real challenge, and you should be prepared for some obstacles. If you can secure yourself a good job, if you have a sense of adventure and aren't afraid of some new experiences, it can be an amazing time. Our best advice is to arrive prepared... and don't give up!

How to design a website from scratch

How to design a Website!

So you know what your website is going to be about - how do you set out to design it?

You need to think of two things. What content are you going to have on your site, and secondly, what is your site going to look like? And what will the layout of the pages look like, the colours etc.

Content

The first thing to think about is the possibilities that a website gives you. Even if your website is going to be an online store, do not think about the site as a catelogue. The benefits of the web is that your website does not have to follow a linear format - it is not restrictive like a book. The format of the web means your visitors will be able to dip into your site at any point, and also be able to jump around to those parts which are the more interest to them.

Don't, therefore, set your site out like chapters in a book, where later chapters rely on information which has been picked up in earlier ones. Instead your pages should all be able to stand as items of interest in their own right, and have links through to other relevant information your visitors might need!

No one needs to start with a blank sheet of paper - there are millions of web sites already out there. The first thing you can do is research. Look at what other people have done - no, you are not going to copy their ideas, but you are trying to see what appeals to you, what you think works well, and what turns you off completely!

So you've looked around, had a few ideas. How will you know that your ideas are going to work? How can you waste hours of abortive effort?

What you want in three clicks.

Want to know the golden rule? You should make sure your site visitor can find what they want in a maximum of three clicks! You should remember the three click rule when deciding how to set out your pages.

A common suggestion is to use a story board approach but the problem with a story board is it makes you think in a linear way - and as we discussed above, with a website you've got the ability to go backwards and sidewards as well as forwards!

One method of thinking about designing a new website is to use a mind mapping process, or to draw up a spider diagram.

You start with just your main subject in the centre - this will be your home page.

First layer

Next think of the main topics which people may expect to find in a site such as yours - on a retail site for example, the first layers may well include the catelogue as a general heading. On a site about dogs the first layer may be 'breeds'.

Second layer

You are now able to go further into each of your subjects. A catelogue for clothes may be divided here into Men's clothing, Children's clothing etc., and the dog breeds may now be listed as Gun Dogs, Toy Breeds etc.

Third layer

Not all of your first layer menu items may lead to a third layer, but some will. To continue our examples above, Chidren's clothing may now be divided into boys and girls. The Gun Dogs will be divided into the Retrievers, Spaniels etc.

By playing around with your ideas on paper in this fashion you can see where your topics fit best. It may be that some third level pages fit under two second layer pages - no problem, you can link a page to each, and have it appearing on more than one menu. It is what makes sense to the visitor that counts!

Having your site set out in a diagram also makes it easier to see how to link up your pages using hyperlinks, i. e., but clicking on a word on your site, the visitor gets taken to a different page without having to go back through the menus.

Colour scheme, templates etc.

Once you have the plan of what you are going to put onto your site you can start to think about individual page layout and colour schemes.

Again, look at other people's sites, especially those you like. What looks good about them? Sites which have a uniform layout on each page often look far more professional than those which experiment with different colours on every page and different templates. This isn't to say that every page must be the same, but have some consistency, for example, where you place the menu buttons, so that people know they are still on your site. If the navigation menu buttons are always in the same place people will quickly become familiar with the feel of your site, and be able to move round it a lot quicker, and therefore take in a lot more of the information which you want to provide them with.

Making your site look professional is important unless you are just putting up a few pages to share with family! Let's assume the reason you wish to make a website is to earn some extra money at home, or to advertise your business or promote an activity. Apart from colour and consistency here are a couple of other tips. Firstly, look at the size of font you use - don't mix it up too much, or use too many different colours. Make your the type face you use can be seen clearly on the background colour. Secondly, is it easy to get to the information

The most important person!

Finally, don't forget that YOU have got to like your site. You will be having a very close relationship with it and it will be very demanding on your time, espeically in the early days. Take advice from friends or colleagues, but at the end of the day, go with what you are happy with. If you are uncomfortable with your site you will not have the same enthusiasm to work with it.

Your first pages

Now you have the schema for your website, you have chosen your colours and background, you can start to put together your first pages.

Here are a few tips:

1. Get a few pages together and get your site up there and published! It will take anything from a few weeks to 7 or 8 months to be indexed by the search engines. The main search engines such as Google like to give comprehensive listings only to mature sites. The sooner you get your site published the sooner you will get good rankings in the search engines.

2. Do not use the words 'under construction'.

3. Get other people's opinion on your site - good comments will give you confidence. If your hosting company has a forum you may be able to showcase your new website there to get advice from others using the same software.

Conclusion

A website doesn’t just emerge – it takes a lot of work and an awful lot of planning. But if you make the investment of time you won’t lose out. If you don’t have a website no one is able to tap into your knowledge or see your creations. If you build your website badly your visitors may not be able to find their way around, and a lot of what you do will be wasted. If you take that bit of extra effort and care you will have a site that is very easy to use, and which will become popular because of that!
